Battle of the Alamo: Texans Commemorate 180th Anniversary of End of Independence Battle.
The 13-day siege at the Alamo ended on March 6, 1836. A ceremony called "The Dawn of the Alamo" was held in San Antonio on Sunday morning, the Houston Chronicle reported.
