Billy Idol certainly scratched an itch last night by RAWKING the crap out of First Ave. I was very smiley! Edith really dug The Blind Shake as well. Thank you for learning and playing Prince's 'Controversy' for us last night guys, very well done too I might add. You know you've been around the block a few times when you've heard both Prince and Billy Idol perform 'Controversy' at First Ave.!

A nice unique new piece for my wall! Kirk explained to me that he didn't know if he was going for "outer-space or the ocean" when he painted this one. It was relaxing for him either way! He really liked the fact that he was able to paint this on his friend's handmade paper as well.

Robert Smith commented that "I feel a lot of pressure with my purple guitar here tonight." He then stated that he is going to auction it for charity, starting at "one dollar." He was sort of dropping it on the butt-end of the body onto the stage as he was talking. He then picked it up one last time and the neck snapped off and he stated "'oh, now I broke it" and walked off stage... I guess Prince thought it was pretty cool too and had to have it!
